Patrice Sue "Pat" Baer, 70, of Perryville, MO died August 1, 2025 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 21, 1955 in Perryville, MO daughter of the late Joseph and Viola Lundy of Perryville. Pat married Orville Baer on May 27, 2000. He survives in Perryville. She was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Church in Perryville, MO. Pat was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, beloved sister, adored aunt, dear cousin, and a treasured friend to so many. Her early years were filled with joyful memories alongside her siblings and family. She loved swimming, taking care of her cats, and playing with neighborhood friends. The close bonds she formed with her family during those childhood days remained strong throughout her life-a beautiful reflection of the deep love she held for them. Pat spent many years working at an orthodontic office, where she built lasting friendships that became some of the closest and dearest relationships of her life. Later, during her time at Perryville Family Care Clinic, she once again formed deep bonds with coworkers who became lifelong friends. Wherever she went, Pat had a way of making people feel valued and seen. She loved traveling and going on cruises with her husband Orville, always cherishing the adventure and time together. She found joy in shopping, sewing, cooking, camping, and playing cards with dear friends. Pat never met a stranger. Her warmth and openness invited connection. She was known for her generosity and her unwavering belief in the good in people. She gave freely of her time and love, always ready with a kind word or thoughtful gesture. Her faith was the foundation of her life. Pat had a quiet, steadfast belief in God, and she lived in the assurance that one day she would be reunited with Him in heaven. Pat's legacy is one of love, kindness, and grace. She will always be remembered for her warm heart and her compassionate spirit. Survivors include son, Robert Kiefer; daughter, Carrie (Steven) Santel; step-son, Tyson (Christina) Baer; two step-daughters, Sherry Baer, Michelle (Michael) Wheeler; two brothers, Mark Lundy, John (Karen) Lundy; three sisters, Mary Brewer, Carol (Dwain) Rhyne, Ann (John) Kirsch; sister-in-law, Vicki Lundy; five grandchildren, William Santel, Owen Santel, Caven Wheeler, Avery Wheeler, Jack Baer and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Dwight Kiefer; brother, Michael Lundy; brother-in-law, Christopher Brewer. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville and will continue from 8:00 am to 9:45 am on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at the funeral home. The Rosary will be at 9:00 am. Funeral Mass will be from 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Perryville with Rev. Joe Geders C.M. officiating.
