Walter W. "Bill" Reed, 76, of Fredericktown, Missouri died Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. He was born August 9, 1945 in St. Louis, MO to Halley and Dorothea Tucker Reed. He and Mary Elle Warren were married July 24, 1989 in Brewer, MO. Walter loved hunting and fishing. Survivors include Five Sons, Terry (Janada) Reed of Perryville, Charles I. Reed of Peoria, IL, Kenny (Cheryl) Reed of Marquand, MO, Sonny Reed of Arnold, MO, Timothy Reed of Fredericktown, MO; Two Daughters, Sabrina (Anthony) Aschoff of St. Louis, MO, Helen "Sissy" Reed; Three Brothers, Charles (Rhonda) Reed of Wapapello, MO, George (Helen) Reed of Perryville, MO, Irvan (Josita) Reed of AK; Two Sisters, Ruth Hapgood of Frohna, MO, Donna (David) Blechle of St. Mary, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Halley "Billy Gene" Reed; Brother-in-Law, Bill Hapgood; Grandson, Dustin Bohnert. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, February 13, 2022 and from 8:00 am to 10:00 am on Monday, February 14, 2022 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am Monday, February 14, 2022 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville with Philip Keeton officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Chester, Illnois. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
