    Kimberly Ann Amschler

    June 18, 1960 - December 11, 2021

    Kimberly Ann Amschler of Perryville, Missouri passed away at 61 years young surrounded by her loving family at home Saturday, December 11, 2021. Kim was born June 18, 1960 in Perryville, MO to Elmer and Mary Glen-Rose (Wengert) Renaud. After graduating from Perryville High School, she married her soul mate, Gregory Eugene Amschler on May 5, 1979 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church of Perryville, MO. Together they had three sons, Jason Amschler with son Ryan of Perryville, Mo, Justin (Katrina) Amschler, with their children Lexi Ann and Liam of Perryville, Mo and Nicholas Amschler (Special Friend Lydia Javvaji) with her two children Rohan and Roshni of Cape Girardeau, MO. Survivors also include her mother Mary Glen-Rose Renaud of Perryville, MO; three brothers and one sister, Mike (Joyce) Renaud of Cape Girardeau, Brenda (Larry) Winkler of Perryville, MO, Daryl (Karen) Renaud of Mora, MN and Wesley Renaud of Jackson, MO, Mother in law Viola Amschler of Cape Girardeau, MO and many nieces and nephews. She was retired after 22 years as an Assistant Site Manager in the health care unit at Menard Correctional Center in Chester, IL. She was a member of St.Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Perryville, MO. Her first love was her grandchildren and family, together she loved to travel, fish and watch the grandkids or nieces play soccer. Kim was also known for her cake decorating skills which she shared while teaching classes years ago. She was recognized for her one of a kind crafting abilities and creations that many enjoy to this day. She also loved gardening, painting, spending time outdoors in nature and camping. She was preceded in death by her father Elmer, her father in law Robert Amschler, grandparents, Ed and Leona Wengert and Martin and Catherine Renaud. Visitation will be 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 and 8:00 am to 9:30 am with Rosary at 8:15am on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Ford and Young Funeral Home in Perryville, MO. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville with Reverand Joe Geders C.M. officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Perryville, MO at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to The American Cancer Society and St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
