Eugene H. Aurich, 86, of Perryville, Missouri died Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born October 20, 1934 in Farrar, MO to William and Esther (Dede) Aurich. He and Dorothy Lungwitz were married on January 28, 1961 in New Wells, MO. Eugene was head sawyer for Mason Stave Mill in Altenburg and Bailey Stave Mill and Rehagan Saw Mill in Perryville. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville. Survivors include Three Sons, Daryl Aurich of Brewer, MO, Darvin (Angela) Aurich of Park Hills, MO, Gary Aurich of Perryville, MO; Two Daughters, Glenda (Matthew) Marks of Perryville, MO, Karen (Scott) Knupp of Satellite Beach, FL; Eight Grandchildren, Nicholas Aurich, Jessica Bolkema, Heather Taylor, Randi Aurich, Sara Cissell, Lindsey Hadler, Jared Knupp and Alexis Knupp. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daughter-in-law, Barbara Aurich; Three Brothers, Edmar Aurich, Melvin Aurich, Norman Aurich; Two Sisters, Lillian Pohlman and Elizabeth Schmidt. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 and from 6:30 am - 8:30 am Thursday at Ford and Young Funeral Home in Perryville. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville with Rev. Joseph Schlie officiating. Burial will be at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
