Dolores L Koenig, 92, of Jupiter, Florida died Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Hospice of the Palm Beaches in Jupiter, Florida. She was born April 29, 1929 in Moline, IL to Leroy and Emma (Voigt) Bergman. Dolores was married to Welmar Koenig on October 26, 1947 in Clay County, Arkansas. Welmar preceded her in death on July 16, 2003. Dolores worked as a baker in the Cafeteria at Berea High School and Roehm Middle School in Berea Ohio. Dolores was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church of Friedenberg, Immanuel Lutheran Church of Perryville, First Lutheran Church of Strongsville, OH, and St Mark's Lutheran Church of Hollywood, FL, and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include: two Daughters, Darlene (Jozsef) Michna of Jupiter, FL, and Kathryn (Gary Mottmann) Thibert of Green Valley, AZ; three Grandchildren, James (Susanne) Pearson of Naples, Italy, Janice (David) Samela of Lilburn, GA, and Julianna (Kevin) Duckworth of Jupiter, FL; four Great-Grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Stuart Jones) Samela of Bethlehem, GA, William "Billy" Samela of Lilburn, GA, Meghan Samela of Lilburn, GA and Ilona Duckworth of Jupiter, FL; and one Great-Great-Grandchild, Abigail Jones of Bethlehem, GA; and her Brother, Donald (Nancy) Bergman of Merced, CA. Dolores was preceded in death by her Parents, Leroy Bergman on December 28, 1972 and Emma Bergman on November 28, 2000, and Daughter, Charlotte Wolfe on July 21, 2021. Visitation will be Friday March 18 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Ford and Young Funeral Home in Perryville. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Steven Dressler officiating.
