    Alma V. Riggins

    October 3, 1924 - October 4, 2020

    Alma V. Riggins, 96, of Williamsville, Missouri passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at Independence Care Center in Perryville, Missouri. She was born October 3, 1924 in Williamsville, Missouri to Daniel F. Goforth and Viola (Duckett) Goforth. She and Kenneth Riggins were married December 26, 1939. He preceded her in death March 16, 2006. Alma was a past member of Chapel Hill Church in Williamsville, sang in the choir at the Assembly of God Pentecostal Church, she was a homemaker, a volunteer at the nutrition center, a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother to all. Survivors include Four Daughters, Mary Riggins of Perryville, MO, Martha Ann Riggins of Perryville, MO, Rebecca (Mike) Roberts of Bonne Terre, MO, J. Elaine Riggins of Perryville, MO; Two Sons, James Ray (Edith) Riggins of Oran, MO and Paul D. (Julie) Riggins of Perryville, MO; and one Brother, Charles "Bub" Goforth of Williamsville, MO; 19 Grandchildren, 34 Great-grandchildren and blessed with many Great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Sons; John R. Riggins and George A. Riggins; Brothers, John Goforth, and Fred Goforth; Two Sisters, Aline Fuller and Leona Douty. Graveside Service will be at Duckett cemetery at Chapel Hill Church near Piedmont, Misssouri on October 8, 2020 at 2 PM with Kenneth Riggins officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105 . Online condolences may be made at www.fordandyoungfuneralhome.com. Ford and Young Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
