Donald G. Hoehn, 84, lifetime resident of Perryville, Missouri died Thursday, May 28, 2020 at Southeast Hospital. He was born on March 12, 1936 in Perryville, Missouri to Harry E. and Bernice Sandler Hoehn. He and Mildred L. 'Mickey' McAtee were married May 26, 1956 at Perryville, Missouri. He was the President of Perry County IDA for years and member of Board for many years. Past President of Perryville Development Corporation for 3 terms and board member. Member of City Planning and Zoning. Perryville City Council Past Chairman of Board for 2 terms. Past President of the Perryville Optimist Club. Member of the Chamber of Commerce. President of Perryco Estates and charter member since 1976 (Housing for Senior Citizens). Past Vice-President of Immanuel Lutheran Congregation. Past Chairman of the Board of Elders for 2 terms of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Part owner of SEMO Real Estate Co. with another office in Cape Girardeau, MO. Member of the Board of Realtors. GRI (Real Estate Designation). Board member of Professional Standards Process Missouri Association of Realtors. He was also involved with his children in scouting and little league baseball for many years. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville. Survivors include his wife, Mildred L. 'Mickey' Hoehn of Perryville, Missouri; one daughter, Cindy (Dean) Elder of Perryville, Missouri; two sons, Michael (Robin) Hoehn of Fairfax, Virginia, Kenneth (Judy) Hoehn of Perryville, Missouri; five grandchildren, Dalton (Kara Leimbach) Hoehn, Hannah (Kyle) Rohde, Randi (Andrew) Lett, Kiley Elder, Trent Elder; and one great-grandson on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville. Service will follow at 11:00 am Saturday, at the church with the Rev. Matthew Marks officiating. Burial will be at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Perryville.
