AUDREY SANDLIN PERRYVILLE Audrey Sandlin, 98, of Perryville, Missouri died November 13, 2021 at Integrity of Columbia in Columbia, Illinois. She was born February 18, 1923 in Yount, Missouri to Elmer and Etta (Statler) Walker. She and Howard Sandlin were married in Perry County, Missouri on June, 20 1942. Audrey was a retail clerk in Perryville for many years. She was member of First Baptist Church of Perryville, Missouri. She enjoyed volunteering at her church, cooking for many luncheons, and assisting with the clothing donation program. Audrey was a very hard worker, even in to her later years. Survivors include one daughter, Sandra (Donald) Sutter of Columbia, Illinois; two grandchildren: Donald J. Sutter of Colombia, Illinois, and Chritina (Keith) Nabers of Valmeyer, Illinois; four great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, all in Illinois. Other survivors include one sister, Billie (the late Loman) Garner of Sikeston, Missouri; four nieces: Judy (Sam) Samples of Perryville, Missouri; Susan (Sean) McQuillen of Sikeston, Missouri; and Lorene Thompson and Alice Pruitt of St. Louis, Missouri.; two nephews: Brad (Sarah) Garner of Sikeston, Missouri, and Terry Sandlin of Perryvile, Missouri; cousins: Wilma Flowers of Millersville, Missouri; Elsworth Statler of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; and Kelly Statler, Mike (Chris) Robertson, and Louis Statler, all of Perryville, Missouri. Also, great nieces, great nephews, and one great-great niece. Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, husband; one brother, Dewey Walker; one sister, Lucille Peterman; sister in law, Mary Walker; brother-in-law, Loman Garner; and infant twin daughters. The visitation and funeral will be held on December 3, 2021 at Ford and Young Funeral Home in Perryville, Missouri. Visitation will be from 9am until 11am, followed immediately by the funeral. Burial will follow in Home Cemetery in Perryville, Missouri. Rev Gerold McBride and Pastor Benjamin Chapman will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Ford and Young Funeral Home in Perryville, Missouri is in charge of arrangements.
